The
Window, Big Bend, Texas, 1983 |
|
In
the center of Big Bend National Park stand the Chisos Mountains. And
in the middle of the Chisos is the Basin. From the Basin there's a trail
that follows the eroded path that rainwater has carved to escape the
mountains and that created the opening seen here, known as the Window.
During this western shooting trip with my friend Hayden I got to capture
a storm just at sunset. If the bolt has been lower in the sky it would
have been difficult to see, in fact several out-takes have this problem.
This one didn't.
